Will I lose my points and prizes if I Unsubscribe?
YES, but you can rejoin and pick up where you left off.
Here's the tough stuff, if you unsubscribe from a Series your username will be removed from the Leaderboard view and all the other subscribed users' positions will be adjusted accordingly. For example, you were in 2nd and John was in 4th. You unsubscribe. Now he's in 3rd due to you unsubscribing.
Unsubscribing also means you are no longer eligible to win prizes. However, the points you earned are stored and reinstated if you re-subscribe to that Series!
Re-subscribing lets you get back in the game and back on the Leaderboard (provided you get back in before more questions are played and you slip further behind in the score). You are also eligible to win prizes again, as if you never left! You'll see unplayed Questions you may have missed while you were away so you can play them and get caught up!
Check the Official Rules for the Series you're in to see how the Sponsor handles situations when a user is issued a prize but unsubscribes before the Series ends.
