Live Mode vs Solo Mode
If you fall behind on answering the Questions, you have until the end of each Challenge to catch up playing any Questions you missed when they were first delivered live in "Live" mode. The catching up is done in "Solo" mode, playing Questions at your own convenience instead of playing it when it was delivered live to the entire group.
Do I miss out on any prizes if I play in Solo mode?
Not really. If a lower point value for playing in Solo mode rather than Live mode is established by the Challenge creator, you should play in Live mode. However, that doesn't mean you can't still win playing in Solo mode. Typically, random giveaways, like Instant Win prizes and entries into Sweepstakes prizes, are awarded to players both in Live and Solo modes. Review your Rules and Prizing disclosures (found on the 'Install Page' where you downloaded the app) for any customized rules around prizing.
Can I win the same amount of points in either Live or Solo mode?
It's possible - employers may choose to award more points for answering a Question in Live play vs. Solo play. Or, the employer may decide to award points equally in both modes. Review the Disclosures located in the Install Site where you downloaded the app for an actual breakdown on how points are weighted in your Challenge...
Can I really be competitive if I only have time to play in Solo mode?
Yes. Even when points are valued differently in Live vs. Solo, many players have WON their Challenge playing entirely in Solo mode!
Does speed count on Solo play?
Yes. Speed counts toward your score, whether in Live or Solo mode. The faster you answer, the more points you win or lose.
